ESCALPO (METALPUNK Brasilien)

ESCALPO ist die Art und Weise, wie wir unsere Meinung und unsere Position gegen alle Arten von gesellschaftlichen und menschlichen Vorurteilen  kundtun .

Ihre Entscheidung, die Songs in ihrer Muttersprache zu schreiben, hatte auch politische Gründe.

"Wir haben uns definitiv dafür entschieden, die Texte auf Portugiesisch zu schreiben, weil wir unsere Ideen in Brasilien deutlich machen wollten.

Die letzten 4 Jahre waren ein verdammter Albtraum, wir sahen das Land Land wirtschaftlich und intellektuell sehr schnell abstürzt. Rassismus, Ignoranz, Homophobie, Morde, Polizeigewalt, all das hatte ein erschreckendes Wachstum. Wir gehen buchstäblich rückwärts.

"Die Botschaft, die hinter ihrer Arbeit steht, ist für die Band offensichtlich sehr wichtig, aber auch ihre klanglichen Referenzen werden sorgfältig aus ihren Wurzeln geholt. Ihre Musik vermischt 80er-Metal, D-Beat, Death Metal, Punk und Hardcore. "Unser Ziel ist es, rohen Klang mit harten Botschaften, die direkt auf den Punkt kommen. Wir lieben Discharge, Venom, Anti Cimex, Motörhead und brasilianische Bands aus den 80er Jahren, wie Lobotomia, Anthares und andere... Wir wollen Punk und Metal in seiner Essenz mischen, roh, laut, in die Fresse !!!
