You have the option to rent the room at the KV as an organizer or to contact us directly as a band. In some cases, the KV may take over the organization of the event.
In any case, we need the following information from you:
Event date (incl. alternative date, if possible)
Which bands/acts? Please include as much information as possible (genre, links to music/videos/website, etc.) or specify the type of event (concert, DJ event with playback, own sound system, etc.).
Please do not send huge images, mp3s, or similar files.Do you need accommodation? For how many people?
Will you cook for the artists?
Schedule (arrival and departure, concert start, expected end…)
Planned admission price (see note below)

Please also don’t be surprised if you do not receive an answer. Either the calendar is already full, or there is no interest.

If you are from the area, you can present your event directly at the meeting — from around 20:00 at the Kunstverein (address in the imprint).

Room rental
Sunday – Thursday: €60
Friday – Saturday: €120
Large events (e.g. festivals, all-day events): €180
The admission price is set, collected, and kept by the organizer.
However, admission may not exceed €15 because we believe subculture must remain affordable.
Higher admission prices must be discussed with the KV and approved during a meeting (this may result in higher room rent).
Flyers/posters are your responsibility. Please send us the data early so we can use them for our event announcements.
Your event will be promoted on our website as well as the Z-Bau website and will be listed in various regional event magazines.
All income from beverage sales belongs to the Kunstverein. No exceptions!
GEMA (performance rights fees) is your responsibility. Any later claims will be forwarded to you.
The event room and foyer must be left swept clean.
Changes or removal of KV’s event technology only after prior consultation.
If you bring your own digital mixing console, please also bring your own digital stagebox. A CAT line between stage and FOH is available.
Rooms & Facilities
The event room is approved for 150 guests.
Accommodation in the dormitory is available.
There are 12 beds (bunk beds with mattresses). Please bring your own sleeping bags and pillows.
If the dormitory is used, you must ensure that a reliable person stays overnight at the Kunstverein with the artists and takes care of breakfast.Shower and washing facilities are available.
A backstage room is available.
